Dupree's Dead Band Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Dupree's Dead Band app ("App") collects, uses, and protects information.

• Location (if you allow location): approximate location may be used for nearby events and show alerts; precise location is used when you choose to verify a show check-in.
• Account information (optional): phone number and account identifiers used to protect and restore your app data.
• Notification token and alert preferences: used to send push notifications you opt into.
• App activity: favorites, reactions, attended/going status, verified check-ins, earned badges, archive listening activity, and related app stats.
• App interaction and diagnostics data: used to improve performance and reliability (for example, analytics and crash diagnostics).
• Booking inquiry form data (if submitted): name, email, phone, venue info, and message content.

How We Use Information

• Deliver app features (updates, upcoming shows, archive playback).
• Protect optional account data and restore it across linked devices.
• Verify eligible show check-ins and award badges.
• Send optional push notifications based on your settings.
• Improve app quality, reliability, and user experience.
• Respond to booking inquiries.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by service providers that support app functionality (for example hosting, notifications, analytics, and app stores).

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your Choices

• You can disable notifications in the App or in device settings.
• You can disable location access in device settings.
• You can stop submitting booking inquiry information at any time.

Data Deletion Requests

If you created an account, you can delete it in the App from Settings. You can also request deletion at /account-deletion or email chrisohio@gmail.com with the subject line DDB Data Deletion Request.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
